DAY ONE WITHOUT YOU
Well It's official. My baby moved to the windy city yesterday and he will be gone for a year where he will be attending the prestigious ACE fellow programme at DePaul University .I miss him already. And as much as i'm happy for him that he is doing what he is destined to do and he is doing what he loves doing...i am a lil down as not only he is my baby but his also my best friend , someone i talk to about everything someone i can be my self with someone i can count on someone i know loves me for who i really am and loves me unconditionally. Last night was tough as i was use to having him in bed every night because he closed on his place last week and spent a week at my place ...lol
No one said relationships are easy specially long distance once (believe me i know). But it's all about communication and effort to maintain the relationship on both sides. If the luv is there you can make it work ,besides Chicago is only an hour away. I'm thinking of applying for a part time job at northwest airlines just so i can fly for free anytime i want.... coz lord knows imma put a lot of frequent flyer miles**Wink**
Day one wasn't that bad as i talk to him 4 times...lol I will be in chi town on labor day weekend so i'm looking forward to that.I dedicate this song to my baby as i count down the day till i see u again.....

A friend recomended this movie......and i must say , it is a very good movie and has become an instant Favorite of mine. Kinky Boots is a 2005 Golden Globe Award-nominated British comedy film written by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth, about a traditional Northampton shoemaker, based in Earls Barton, who turns to producing fetish footwear in order to save the ailing family business and the jobs of his workers. UGH...
Why do i feel empty and alone. For some reason it doesn't make sense as i have everything that i want in my life.I have Jesus in my heart. I have a loving and caring family. I have a wonderful boyfriend ,i have great friends...I have a Job((**Or two..lol**)). Lets just say on paper it sounds tho i should be the happiest dude on earth but for some reason i find myself feeling down or find myself alone. Lies ,Deception & confrontation
I try to avoid conflict/confrontation at all costs, however sometimes that seems to be more damaging. I tend to put myself through a lot just to avoid confrontation. I would climb Mt Everest just to get around someone or something confrontational. I really need to learn how to deal with it better.
I don't like conflicts/confrontation...but i have learned that if i don't deal with it only hurts me in the long run. Recently i found out i have been betrayed/lied to by some people i love ,and i luv them so much that i tend to over look stuff. They think they are smart and think that i dont know but little that they know that "all things done in the dark alwayz tends to come to light".
What do you think i should do? Get to the bottom of it and lose those ppl i love or should i act like i dont know and keep those ppl in my life.

Pixar Does It Again
Ok i'll have to admit i am a 29 yr old baby...lol I luv cartoons and I'd have to say "Lion King" is one of my all time favorite movies. Well anywayz ,,,,this weekend i decided to go see the new Pixar picture "UP". I have to say Pixar has become the most dependable studio out there for producing reliable films that don't simply continue to raise the bar in animation but set a level of excellence in storytelling that puts most live-action movies to shame.
The movie was great from beginging to the end.And watching it in 3D even made it better.

Bringing Sexy Back To The Roof
So last week was kinda rough for me as work was kinda hectic and 'Mi amor' going out of town to see his family down south. The 3 day weekend was comming up and the weather looking so not "Minnesota-ish"( can u belive it was 78?) i decided to go out with few co workers for some much needed chilaxin in da city.
This weekend was also one of my co-worker and good friend Dawn's birhtday.We decided to hit downtown and chose to go to our fav spot "Seven Sushi Ultralounge". This place has it all, from a sushi bar to steak house to club/bar with Rooftop bar wit bonfire. The night was a blast...birthday girl had fun we all had a ball except for this one chick who kept complaining and got on my last few nerves about how cold it was and i was like" **** you live in minnesota and it is almost 80 degreez so stop complaining'!!!...lol I dont like party poopers....lol
While hanging in downtown a few of my cousins showed up and i got to spend some time with them as well. All in all the night was a success and makes me want to start taking a break from time to time and enjoy spending some time with the ppl i luv.

A list of my Complaints for the day
1. If i hear this one co-worker talk about her weadding one more time i think i might be on tomorrows episode of cops. Wedding cake, Wedding DJ, Wedding dress,Wedding photographer.... Wedding Wedding Wedding Wedding ....S-T-F-U !!!!
2. People! please make your kids mind, don't just sit there and complain about how they act, DO something about it.
3. work work work work......ugh i dont even wnat to start about work!!!
4. People at the cafe ...please wear some damn gloves or wash yo damn hands before you take my baggles out of the toaster specially when you know yo azz was just handling the register a few seconds ago.
5. If you drag your 10 year old all around the world every day and get them exposed to your world they gonna act just like you and think thats okay. Whose fault is it?/ Revert back to number 2 to solve the issue.
Phew!! It feels great to get that of my chest.
